Job Description
As an Operations Officer, you will be responsible for the following tasks:
Key Responsibilities:
- Open, maintain, and update customer investment portfolios and securities records.
- Review and validate trade orders; process trade settlements and corporate actions.
- Execute funding, payment, foreign exchange, and deposit transactions.
- Administer customer and asset management fees.
- Prepare daily and periodic operational and portfolio reports.
- Perform reconciliations of cash and holding accounts; investigate and resolve discrepancies.
- Manage market data and foreign exchange rate updates.
- Process customer requests and inquiries within agreed timelines while maintaining confidentiality and data integrity.
Job Requirements
As an Operations Officer, you meet the following requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a focus on Accounting.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience within the financial sector.
- Some experience in securities and treasury operations is considered an asset.
- Exceptional accuracy and strong attention to detail.
- Well-developed analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines in a dynamic environment.
- Solid understanding of regulatory requirements, including AML, ATF, KYC.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in Dutch, English, and Papiamentu.
- Professional, discreet, and client-focused mindset.
