Job description

As the Maintenance Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes and the maintenance of our equipment. If you are a proactive problem solver with strong leadership skills, this could be the perfect position for you!

Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with IMS requirements.
• Oversee HACCP and FSSC implementation.
• Maintain GMP and housekeeping standards.
• Coordinate fumigation activities.
• Communicate nonconforming situations to QA Chief and Ops Manager.
• Prepare reports on non-conforming materials.
• Coordinate product segregation guidelines.
• Verify compliance with Maintenance and Calibration Program.
• Assist Ops Manager in updating Maintenance Program.
• Supervise equipment maintenance and installation.
• Execute preventive, routine, and corrective maintenance tasks.
• Ensure compliance with Calibration Program.
• Manage materials, packaging, safety, and quality programs.
• Coordinate Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) compliance.
• Adhere to HACCP principles and environmental practices.
• Control product quality and safety.
• Identify opportunities for improvement.
• Manage Maintenance Department's budget and personnel.

Job requirements

Qualifications:

• MBO Diploma (technology) or Electro-Mechanical Technician/Engineering certification.
• Advanced command of English, Spanish, and Papiamentu (Dutch desirable).
• Intermediate computer skills in Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
• Familiarity with the Integrated Management System (IMS), including quality, food safety, GMP, and HSE practices.
• Strong electrical and mechanical knowledge.
• Experience in preventive maintenance using scheduled activities.
• Proficiency in PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) systems.
• Minimum of five years of experience in a similar maintenance role.
