Our client, a well-established beverage distributor in Curacao, is looking for a Credit & Collections Analyst.
The Credit & Collections Analyst is a critical role in managing the company's cash flow and customer account health through diligent payment processing, collections coordination, and reporting.
This position combines strong analytical capabilities with collaborative relationship management to ensure timely revenue recognition, accurate financial records, and effective credit management.
Key Responsibilities
- Pocess customer payments accurately and in line with company policies.
- Issue monthly customer statements and follow up on outstanding balances.
- Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies and client inquiries.
- Support effective credit management while maintaining positive client relationships.
- Perform daily and weekly bank reconciliations, including in-transit accounts.
- Prepare and process invoices.
- Prepare and manage consignment agreements, credit sales agreements, and related registers.
- Produce weekly and monthly sales and collection reports.
- Collaborate closely with Sales & Marketing to support commercial performance.
- Act as backup for Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable functions to ensure continuity
Job Requirements
- Completed Bachelor's degree in accounting or business administration.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in a similar accounts receivable or finance role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite with proven experience with financial software and accounting systems.
- Strong analytical capabilities with attention to detail.
- Fluency in Papiamentu, English, Dutch and Spanish (written and verbal).
- Detail-oriented, Self-motivated, Analytical and goal-driven.
