We are partnering with a leading global company to find a driven and results-oriented Sales Supervisor for the Traditional Trade channel. This is your chance to lead a high-performing sales team, strengthen customer relationships, and make a measurable impact in a fast-moving, competitive market.

Responsibilities

As Sales Supervisor, you will take ownership of the Traditional Trade segment including minimarkets, toko’s, and small independent retailers ensuring flawless execution of sales operations, promotional campaigns, and customer service excellence. You will lead a team (5 FTE's), analyze market trends, optimize product availability, and deliver exceptional brand visibility at every point of sale.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive Sales Growth:
    - Coordinate and manage all product orders, ensuring availability, freshness, and zero stockouts.
     
  • Lead & Inspire:
    - Supervise, train, and evaluate a team of presellers and helpers to achieve sales targets and route efficiency.
     
  • Market Execution:
    - Implement in-store promotions and merchandising strategies for maximum brand impact.
     
  • Customer Excellence:
    - Build lasting partnerships with traditional trade customers, acting as their go-to contact for service and support.
     
  • Performance Insight:
    - Analyze sales data, identify trends, and take action to outperform competitors.
     
  • Strategic Planning:
    - Develop and execute monthly work plans aligned with commercial objectives.
     
  • Quality & Compliance:
    - Ensure adherence to company standards, sales SOPs, and international quality and safety certifications (ISO, FSSC).
     

Requirements for the position

  • HBO / MBO level education is required. Preferably with a background or specialization related to sales, marketing, or business.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience specifically as a sales supervisor in the FMCG sector or related industries.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven ability to manage teams and build customer loyalty.
  • Proficiency in languages such as Dutch, Papiamentu, Spanish, and English is required
