Operations Manager - Curacao

Your Key Tasks

• Lead and coordinate daily warehouse, transportation, and distribution operations.
• Plan and oversee the receiving, storage, order picking, and dispatch of goods.
• Develop and manage transportation and distribution schedules.
• Supervise, motivate, and support the development of operational teams.
• Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational results.
• Identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to increase efficiency.
• Manage operational budgets, monitor expenses, and optimize costs.
• Coordinate the use and maintenance of transportation vehicles and warehouse equipment.
• Maintain professional relationships with customers, suppliers, and external transportation partners.
• Ensure compliance with quality, safety, hygiene, and operational standards.
• Address and resolve operational challenges and customer complaints.

What You Bring to the Role

• A bachelor's degree in Logistics, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 to 7 years of experience in a leadership role within logistics, warehousing, or transportation.
• Proven experience in managing and developing operational teams.
• Strong knowledge of logistics processes, inventory management, transportation planning, and distribution.
• Experience with KPI monitoring, budget management, and process improvement.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• A results-driven mindset with the ability to make decisions and take responsibility.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure.
• Experience in the food, beverage, distribution, or FMCG industry is an advantage.
• Knowledge of temperature-controlled logistics is a plus.
