Job Description

• Perform periodic reviews of low- and medium-risk customers across multiple offices, ensuring compliance with KYC policies and procedures and proper documentation of screening information.
• Review account opening cases within the on-boarding application to ensure all required approvals are obtained and compliance with Know Your Customer (KYC) requirements is met prior to finalizing the on-boarding process.
• Collaborate with Sales, Account Opening teams, and clients to obtain outstanding Customer Due Diligence (CDD) and/or regulatory documentation, identify documentation gaps, and review relevant publicly available information.
• Escalate complex issues related to client types, ownership structures, financial products, and AML risk to the Compliance Department in a timely manner.
• Ensure the accuracy and completeness of Customer Due Diligence (CDD) and regulatory documentation within source systems.
• Report identified deficiencies in Customer Due Diligence to the Compliance Department and execute appropriate remedial actions in accordance with established procedures.
• Contribute to AML-related initiatives and projects as required.
• Maintain data integrity and accuracy across both physical records and electronic systems.

Job Requirements

To be successful in this role, candidates should meet the following qualifications:

• Higher Vocational Education (HBO) degree with 1–3 years of relevant professional experience.
• Basic knowledge of applicable banking laws, regulations, and industry practices.
• Sound understanding of banking products and services.
