Job description

As a Cargo Coordinator, you will be responsible for:

• Coordinating and processing customer orders for both import and export cargoes.
• Entering, updating, and managing cargo data accurately and efficiently.
• Maintaining close communication with international shipping companies, local and overseas customers, and port service providers.
• Overseeing and managing the daily activities of the cargo department to ensure smooth and efficient operations.

Job requirements

We are looking for a motivated and qualified logistics professional who combines operational experience with a proactive and solution oriented mindset. The ideal candidate meets the following criteria:

• Relevant experience in shipping, logistics, or supply chain management, with a solid understanding of import and export processes.
• Completed HBO level education, preferably in Logistics Management, International Business, or a related field.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a collaborative and professional approach.
• Full professional proficiency in English, Dutch, and Papiamento both spoken and written.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word) and comfortable working with digital systems and data entry platforms.
• Possession of a valid driver’s license (minimum Category B).
• Able to provide a Certificate of Good Conduct (VOG).
