For one of our clients, active in the financial industry, we are looking for an Information Specialist within the IT department.

Job description

As Information Delivery Analyst you will work other departments to assist in the execution of the business intelligence strategies. This role is responsible for leading, designing, developing, integrating and implementing innovative technical solutions to support the reporting and analytical processes.

This position will also be responsible for performing analyses of information from various sources to assist in managerial decisions, projects and initiatives leading to improved customer service. 

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in information systems, computer science or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in information delivery position.
• A solid understanding of the types of tools and of best practices in the field of Business Intelligence and Information Delivery with knowledge of key trends in this area.
• Extensive expertise in reporting tools e.g. Cognos, MS SQL.
• Strong understanding of various forms of data base structures (e.g., normalized, star-schema, dimensional).
• Excellent proven English writing skills
• Proven ability to lead projects and achieve results in an ambiguous work environment.
